  Despite having a recent revamp the store is still a complete mess and sham. Layout illogical and the shelves are always empty. Much more expensive than the ex-Safeway site down the road at Newlands. Poor quality of fresh produce such as meat and potatoes are awful. Wonky potatoes are cheaper and are not green compared to the higher priced standard variety. New clothing range for children has cost a lot of shelve space and hence products missing. Short use by dates and product variety poor and non-existent. Inconsistent product variety and product availability is poor. Overall, not impressed, the revamp is just a smoke screen to cover up the poor management and poor logistics of the store. I often feel ripped off and frustrated shopping here. I always have to go back to the other Morrisons at nearby Newlands due to the store not having items required in stock. They often cheat the customer by misleading and misguiding them as products are incorrectly placed in the wrong shelve space displaying prices for a completely different product. I have often received no price reductions when buying reduced items. Products often on shelves charged full price despite being passed their legal use by date. Even on their final use by date there is no price reductions. Self-scans do not work and often there is a long wait for assistance. I much prefer Newlands Morrisons compared to Giffnock. This store is a disgrace as it is located in an affluent suburban area South of Glasgow City in East Renfrewshire which was purposely built and designed by Morrisons in 2008. Morrisons should invest in logistics and product availability of this store. Customer service is non-existent. Staff cant be bothered to help if you have collapsed and fallen over in store. Store is filthy and floor looks grubby. Battery recycling bin is near cafe and not in the store entrance porch with carrier bag recycling bin. Should be side by side as it used to be when store first opened. Giffnock residents and shoppers deserve better than this Morrisons. No wonder you are losing profits as we go elsewhere as this store is completely unreliable and expensive. Bring back the good old days of Safeway as they were great and far better than Morrisons.
